Artists of the Year 2008

The response to our fist Artist of the Year competition was phenomenal. Literally thousands of entries poured in from all over Europe, from both professional and non-professional artists. The standard was so high that our panel of judges had a hard time choosing the winners.
Proffesor Maurice Cockrill, head of the Royal Academy Schools and chairman of the judging panel, was particularly impressed.
"All of the paintings were well articulated, although I felt the top three were most distinguished" he says. "These had the most art in them in the real sense."
